Campanelli Construction Completes Renovations on High Point Hospital
Currently, High Point operates inpatient and outpatient programs in Plymouth, Brockton, New Bedford, and Taunton. The new location will allow High Point to expand from 16 psychiatric beds in Plymouth, Massachusetts to 72 beds. Jobs will be created for approximately 200 people, consisting of physicians, nurses, clinicians, maintenance staff, housekeepers, dietary, mental health, and administrative staff.
“Campanelli has extensive experience in medical facility construction, as well as decades’ long ties in the community of Middleborough. We are confident this building will become an asset to the community by transforming a neglected building, changing the lives of those receiving treatment, and creating jobs,” states Jeff DeMarco, Partner & President of Campanelli Construction.
High Point, provides treatment to individuals and families suffering from addiction, mental illness, domestic violence and homelessness. The facility in Middleborough will provide inpatient psychiatric treatment and outpatient services.
According to High Point President & CEO Daniel Mumbauer, “Our plan was to renovate a property that had been neglected, vandalized, and provided no economic value to the town of Middleborough. High Point Hospital will add jobs, offer life-changing treatments, and become an active fixture of the community by providing mental health in-patient as well as outpatient services. We welcome the opportunity to work with the town and other organizations to make Middleborough a safer and healthier place to live and work.”
