Professional Experience:
Pete joined Campanelli in 2003 and serves as its Director of Leasing and Director of Business Development. Pete's extensive real estate background spans over 30 years in commercial and industrial real estate leasing, and sales and management. He has specific expertise in tenant and landlord representation in the leasing of prime office, industrial/research and development, and retail space in the Greater Boston market.
In his current role, Pete's primary responsibility is to manage the leasing and marketing effort of available space in the Campanelli owned real estate portfolio.
Prior to his time with Campanelli, Pete served as a partner and EVP of Peter Elliot LLC, a commercial and industrial real estate brokerage and property management company, from 1981-2003. While a Principal at Peter Elliot LLC, he oversaw the firm’s leasing, sale, and management operations for three offices in Dedham, MA, White Plains, NY, and Cranford, NJ. Pete opened its Boston Office in 1980 and ran it for nine years while simultaneously co-managing its Atlanta Office between 1982 and 1988. From 1973 to 1981, he worked for Halpern Building Corp in Westchester County, N.Y. in office and residential property management and leasing, and later worked for Peter Elliot LLC as commercial broker.
At Peter Elliot, Pete was also responsible for the firm’s client relationships with Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the Mass General Hospital, and Citizens Bank. There are just a few examples of his expertise in retail, office, and investment properties.
Licenses, Professional Affiliations & Community Associations:
Pete is a Licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and Campanelli’s corporate representative at NAIOP and MassEcon. He is an active member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Trustee of its South Shore EDC; a member of the Cohasset EDC (and its former inaugural Chairman); and Chairman of the Annual Cohasset Classic Car Concours. He served on several charitable and business association boards of directors over the years including the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and its Executives Club, the Downtown North Association, and the Boston Minutemen Council - Boy Scouts of America.
Fun Facts & Hobbies:
Pete served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Finance Corps from 1969 -1971. He participated in cross country and was a long distance runner at Providence College and he was Boston College’s first Graduate Student Association Coordinator.
Pete enjoys golf, antique cars, classical architecture, and loves to travel. He currently resides in Cohasset, MA with his wife, Carol.
